Lower Body Workout
When I find a song I like with a good beat, I can’t but help dance to it. It has to be one that I like to workout to as well! So, while lifting weights this morning, I started dancing, and was very distracted by this song. I stopped following along to my ChaLean Extreme DVD and was soon trying to make a workout to match the song. If I look exhausted while doing this video, it is because I was!! I had already been lifting weights for 30 minutes, then doing this routine about 5 or 6 times all the way through. I accidentally didn’t push record TWICE when trying to film it. UGH my legs were ON fire!!!
This is a lower body SMOKER!! Try to do this songs as many times as you can until you get sick of i! Aim for at least 3-4 times!
Add intensity by jumping/hopping during the squats.
Decrease intensity by NOT jumping/hoping, especially during the lunges.
My routine was pretty simple
- Kesha singing Timber section: SQUAT
- Kesha signing “oooh ooohh ooohhh” part: SUMO SQUAT
- Pibull singing/rapping: LUNGES
- Pitbull “Swing your partner round and round” part: Jump rope in place
REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT!
